Standardised Price List


All funeral directors are legally required to publish this Price List for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors (because prices can vary).

ATTENDED FUNERAL (funeral director’s charges only)
This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.

Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.

Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises) into the funeral director’s care.

Care of the deceased person before the funeral in appropriate facilities. The deceased person will be kept at Login Chapel of Rest, Llangunnor Road, Carmarthen.

Providing a suitable coffin - traditional panelled light oak veneer.

Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends, from by appointment with the funeral director.

At a date and time you agree with the funeral director, taking the deceased person direct to the agreed cemetery or crematorium (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises) in a hearse other appropriate vehicle.

UNATTENDED FUNERAL 
This is a funeral where family and friends may choose to have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person, but they do not attend the burial or cremation itself.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.

1 This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

2 In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.

Third Parties

We may ask third parties, on your behalf, to supply requirements which the family requests as part of the funeral arrangements.  In these occasions we are acting as your agents.

However, we do not accept liability for any loss, damage, expense or inconvenience of whatever nature arising from incorrect completion of such orders by any third party.

Valuables

We accept valuables or other items for the purpose of viewing, or to be placed in the coffin or for any other reason on the condition that we will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, expense or inconvenience of whatever nature.

SAIF

We are a member of National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), membership number 3068,  (www.saif.org.uk)  SAIF Business Centre, 3 Bullfields, Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, England. CM21 9DB.

We subscribe to its current Code of Practice, a copy of which is available upon request.

Terms of Payment

The final account sent to the client is due for settlement within 28 days.

If you do not comply with the above terms of payment, you will be liable for losses we may incur, and we reserve the right to instruct our solicitor to recover the debt together with any legal costs involved.

Glanmor Evans and Son, is a trading name for Glanmor Davies Evans and Son Ltd 

(Company Registration Number 7886529) and is owned by Glanmor Evans, Wendy Evans and Iwan Evans, the Directors being Glanmor Evans, Wendy Evans, Iwan Evans and Nerys Evans.

During the last 12 months, there has been:

  • no material charitable donation to a third party.

    no material charitable contribution or payment of a gratuity to a third party

  • no other form of payment to a third party that does not relate to a cost incurred or a service provided on our behalf or to us

  • There is no business or material financial interest in a price comparison website which compares Funeral Directors Services and/or Crematoria Services and their respective prices.

Responsibilities:

Glanmor Evans and Son being the trading name for Glanmor Davies Evans and Son Limited is responsible for ensuring that this notice is made available to all individuals prior to us collecting/processing their personal data.

All of our employees who interact with individuals are responsible for ensuring that this notice is drawn to their attention and agree to the processing of their data.

We would process your personal details for the purpose of funeral arrangements, providing and personalising services, dealing with enquiries and requests and for marketing information and services. 

Our legal basis for processing your personal data is for organising funeral services and administering pre-arranged funeral plans and plan records.

Consent:

By requesting our services you are giving us permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified.  When we are asking you for sensitive personal data we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us to update your preferences.  

Disclosure:

We will only pass on personal data to third parties as is necessary for the purposes of funeral arrangements – NHS Boards, HM Coroners, Medical Practitioners, Registrars, crematoria and cemeteries and their staff, Clergy and individuals connected with places of worship, Celebrants, musicians, florists, caterers, solicitors, charities.

Retention period:

Glanmor Evans and Son will ensure that personal data is not kept longer than is necessary and will retain the minimum amount of information that is required to fulfil our business function and the provision of our services.  We will store the personal data for reference purposes only.

Your rights as a data subject:

Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.

Right to object – you have the right to object to certain types of processing such as direct marketing.

Right to erasure – you have the right to request that in certain circumstances, the personal date we hold for you be erased.

Right to rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
