Iwan Evans
Funeral Director, Managing Director
Iwan lives in Lime Grove Avenue, Carmarthen with his wife and children. He started helping out with the family business many years ago – building coffins in the shed during school holidays. Iwan began working full-time as a Funeral Director in 2011 and following the retirement of Glanmor and Wendy from the day-to-day running of the business, Iwan now leads the team. In his spare time he enjoys music - playing the saxophone, accordion and piano.
Emyr Davies
Funeral Director
Emyr lives in Abergwili with his wife and children. Emyr joined the team as Funeral Director during 2020 and gained valuable ‘hands-on’ experience during the Covid pandemic. Emyr is currently undertaking training with the IFD College – accredited training for the funeral profession. In his spare time Emyr enjoys watching sport, walking and spending time with the family.
Rhinedd Williams
Office Manager
Rhinedd lives in Llanddarog with her husband and children. Rhinedd joined the team in 2022 and has many years’ experience in administration having worked for Carmarthenshire County Council, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, Barn Cyf., and Trinity College Carmarthen. In her spare time Rhinedd enjoys listening to music, keeping fit with aquafit and reading.
Elgan Evans
Driver
Elgan lives in Llansteffan with his wife. He is a former mechanic with Dairy Crest in Whitland and Mid and West Fire Service in Carmarthen. He has many years experience as fomer volunteer with the Coastguards based at Llansteffan. In his spare time he enjoys playing darts.
Wendy Evans
Director
Wendy is a Company Director and founder member of the business in 1986. Wendy was Office Manager between 1986 and 2022 and still takes an active role behind the scenes. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, playing the piano and spending time with the family.
Glanmor Evans
Director
Glanmor is a Company Director and founder member of the business, begining as Funeral Director in 1986. He still takes an active role behind the scenes and helps out as driver from time to time. In his spare time Glanmor enjoys making things in his workshop and going about on his tractor.
